If you make a mistake, you might end up in the wrong location.
Today, we look at some of the English you need to ride subways and trains.
Excuse me.
I left my bag on a train.
You can report it at the information desk, and then we can call the Lost and Found Service Center.
What kinds of tickets are available?
You can buy a single-journey ticket or a stored-value ticket.
There are also one-day passes, group tickets, and commemorative tickets.
How do I buy a single-journey ticket?
Look at the map to find the fare for your destination.
Then push the button for that fare and insert the money.
How do I get through the gate?
Put your ticket in the slot.
When it comes out the second slot, pull it out and go through the gate.
Where can I catch the Nankang Line toward Hsimen Station?
Go to platform number one.
How do I get to Shihlin Night Market?
Take the Nankang Line to Taipei Main Station and transfer to the Tamshui Line.
Ride the Tamshui Line toward Tamshui, and get off at Chientan Station.
When is the last train on the Tamshui Line?
The last trains depart Tamshui and Hsintien at midnight.
Can you tell me which train goes to Kaohsiung?
Um, this is the Taipei MRT.
