Eddie: Hi, Jeremy. I haven't seen you for a long time.
Where did you go?
Jeremy: Oh, I went abroad studying last summer.
Eddie: Really..?
Jeremy: Yeah, that's right.
Eddie: So, which country did you go ?
Jeremy: Japan.
Eddie: Wow.. It is a good country. I have heard a lot about Japan, like
the habit of eating and living, the attitude they keep, but I really
don't know the cultural difference.
Jeremy : Well, there is no doubt that every country possesses their particular
culture and customs so that they should be cherished and come down
by everyone. However, because of the impact of outer culture,
original cultures are replaced and bring about disappearing.
So, it's significant for us to cherish every original cultures. For example, Japanese get accustomed to wear kimono in special space or festival .This is a kind of representation of Japan.
Eddie : Eddie: Kimono, I know .It's beautiful. I believe it is the unique culture that Japanese have. Is there anything special?
Jeremy : Sumo is also a main culture about Japan.
Eddie : Sumo, I feel it's very terrible. I don't like it.
Jeremy : On the other hand, they usually like to eat uncooked fish and drink tea.
I believe that making tea plays an important role in their lives.
So, it’s obvious to see that a lot of family have the habit of making tea.
Eddie : Oh, I know that drinking tea is good for everyone, so I like their habit of making tea. As you say, it's really different to live in Japan. I envy their living style. Is there still anything?
Jeremy : Jeremy: Yes, there are still many differences between Taiwan and Japan. If you have a chance to go to Japan, you would find the differences.
Eddie : Oh, thEddie : Oh, it sounds good. When will you come back to Japan again? I want to go with you to realize the differences.
Jeremy : Really..? About next month.
Eddie : Good. I decide to go with you.
Jeremy : OK. See you next month.
